BHS' McCaw wins Black History Month Award
Bloomfield High School junior Lisa-Raye McCaw won the EVERFI Black History Month Challenge for the state of Connecticut. This digital challenge, sponsored by Citizens Financial Group Inc, was open to students across the nation. Lysa-Raye was one of 11 winners. She will be awarded a $2,500 college savings gift card and a new Apple MacBook Pro.
Everfi is a social media impact education innovator. The Black History Month Challenge was launched to support youth education on race and equity.
