Rodney Powell is Bloomfield Public Schools' new Director of Adult and Continuing Education. It is a part-time position in which he will oversee educational programs for adults seeking to continue their education.
Over the last six years, he has been a Hartford Public Schools Principal at both Opportunity High School and Opportunity Academy Hartford and Bloomfield.
Mr. Powell’s was also once the Co-Founder & Principal for seven years at ConneXions Community Leadership Academy, an arts-based charter school in the Baltimore Public Schools system.
Mr. Powell’s experience and insight will be of great value to our district.
